The fabrics offered by the Ashley Wilde Group incorporate more than 60 years of textile expertise. Two umbrella brands, KAI and Ashley Wilde designs, and brands such Kylie Minogue and Ted Baker are part of the traditional London-based company. At Heimtextil 2020, the KAI motif with the crane was a big hit.

It is regarded as a symbol of vigilance and wisdom or as a ‘bird of happiness’. The crane enjoys great popularity in Asia and the rest of the world. This may have been one reason for the great success of this design by the Ashley Wilde Group at this year’s Heimtextil. This year, the British are using colours that are mainly powdery, pastel, seemingly natural and harmonious from one collection to another. The patterns vary between animal and floral and are generally rather reserved. The British certainly did not bring elaborate patterns with them. When it comes to the Kylie Minogue brand, it’s very different, however: here, it’s all about glitter and sparkles on bed linen and curtains – most likely simply part of the package when it comes to a star collection. The Ashley Wilde Group, a family-run business, produces a total of 30 to 35 collections a year and employs 12 designers of its own. And this is why you can find such different styles within one group, from curtains to hand towels. The Ashley Wilde Group is exhibiting in hall 8.0 at stand 66.
