Baroque opulence: Byron&Byron
Artistic curtain poles made in England
“Purism is good for clear-headed thought, but human beings need decorative elements in their homes,” says Orazio Gualtieri, CEO of Byron&Byron, who have been regular exhibitors at Heimtextil for many years. In 2016, too, the company is again showcasing some opulent new products as far as curtain poles are concerned. But ‘curtain poles’ is a notion that seems vastly too weak to describe this company’s products. The poles and finials are real works of art and really set off the beauty of the fabrics that they are used with. The window and its view thus become the content of a picture, which is given an appropriate frame. Those, who like things a little lighter, will also be able to find something to their taste at Byron&Byron. The curtain poles from their ‘Hylo’ series seem to float airily and unencumbered beneath the ceiling. Lovers of plentiful colour will be delighted by the Flora Neon range. If you cannot find the particular curtain-pole design that you are looking for, then Orazio Gualtieri is sure to be willing to create it for you.
