Flokati: wool for well-being
With its products made of pure new wool, the ‘Flokati’ label from Lithuania has brought a great potential for well-being to the fair. This is Flokati’s first appearance at Heimtextil and the company is showing a wide range of practical and enchanting textiles made of pure new wool.
Flokati has been making woollen duvet covers, pillows and mattress covers for adults and children for many years. All in natural colours and, in some cases, with a discreet printed side in cotton. The range diversified quickly and now includes bedding with ‘Flo’ and ‘Kati’, two cute sheep heading a whole flock of cuddly animals. Particularly cute and, above all, socially acceptable are the bunnies for babies. To make them, Flokati works together with disabled people who also make the other toys for the company by hand.
All Flokati products bear the Woolmark certificate and are also ecotex certified. The raw material comes from Italy and Poland. For people who don’t want to get up out of the Flokati bedding, the nice ladies from Lithuania also offer socks and slippers, as well as scarves and hats. In other words, anyone who wants to can cover themselves in wonderful natural woollen products the whole year round.
