Heimtextil: New concept
More space and synergies in 2019
Something to look forward to: with the new concept for 2019, Heimtextil will be distinguished by more exhibition space and an even bigger range of products for exhibitors and visitors. Thanks to a new hall structure – including the new Hall 12 but without Hall 6, which is currently being rebuilt – exhibitors will benefit from the proximity of home and household textiles. Trade visitors and buyers can look forward to lots of furnishing inspiration and shorter walking distances: the various themes and product segments will be arranged even more effectively with regard to target groups, and optimum use made of synergies.
Join us on a small tour and discover the innovations and benefits we plan to offer our visitors and exhibitors in Frankfurt next year.
We begin in Hall 3.0 and an area full of inspiration and future-oriented technologies. There, design studios and CAD/CAM companies will have their base and, under the heading ‘Textile Design’, comprise the world’s biggest design platform of its kind. Manufacturers of digital-printing machines and the new Heimtextil trend show will also be at home here in the future. In a nutshell, Heimtextil is bringing together the progressive subjects of textile design, digital printing and trends in the same exhibition hall.
Immediately next door, three levels of Hall 4 present the world’s biggest spectrum of furniture and decorative fabrics, as well as furniture and artificial leather. Hall 4.2 will be further expanded into the meeting place for architects, interior designers and hotel-furnishing experts with the ‘Interior.Architecture.Hospitality Expo’, a source of inspiration with lectures and guided tours for the contract sector in particular.
Let us now look at Hall 8.0 where ‘Window & Interior Decoration’ has found a new home with curtains, decorative fabrics and carpets, as well as sun protection and decorative systems. ‘Beautiful Living’ in Halls 8.0, 9.0 and 11.0 presents suppliers of decorative cushions, blankets, plaids, table and kitchen linen – supplemented by the new lifestyle-oriented ‘Accessories’ product group. At Heimtextil 2018, great interest was shown in stylish accessories and textiles for animals and, next year, they will be located on a larger area in Hall 9.0.
The highly promising, future-oriented subject of ‘Smart Bedding’ in Hall 11.0 is also well worth a look: the centre of expertise with innovative products from the bedding, duvet, mattresses, pillows and sleep systems will offer insights into fascinating developments in the functional sleep spectrum with a new special show entitled ‘The future of sleep’.
And, finally, the highlight: the new Hall 12, which will be available for Heimtextil for the first time in 2019. It offers lots of space for bed linen and bathroom textiles – product groups with a great potential that will be further upgraded and expanded over the coming years.
