‘Linking Maker & Market’

Support from the Netherlands for start-ups

“Presenting undiscovered suppliers from around the world” is inscribed on the wall of the exhibition stand of the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Trade (CBI) in Hall 11.1. The idea is soon explained: the ministry presents young companies from developing countries that offer home textiles, home decorations or fashion accessories, such as bags and baskets.

The ministry supports them with professional design, portfolio, customer-contact, trade relations and trade-fair coaching. The focus is on linking these producers with the European trade who have the chance to find original and passionately made products from South Africa, Bangladesh, Madagascar, Guatemala and Indonesia, to mention but a few. The stand design is extremely original and a genuine eyecatcher when it comes to display design – all in all, highly professional. Thus, supplier reliability is guaranteed and there is nothing to prevent a creative and profitable collaboration for both sides: ‘Linking Maker & Market’ – for purposeful connections.

You can find out more about ‘Linking Maker & Market’ in Hall 11.1, Stands A21 and A 25.
