Exclusive fabrics as well as holistic colour and room concepts dominate the stylish hotel design.

The Schlosshotel Kronberg, built as Schloss Friedrichshof according to the wishes of Victoria Kaiserin Friedrich in 1893, is one of the most extraordinary castle hotels in Germany today. The Five-Star-Superior Grandhotel is a member of “Small Luxury Hotels of the World” and is currently undergoing general refurbishment and future-oriented enhancements in order to meet the guests quality expectations, build up a distinctive profile, and maintain a strong position in the luxury hotel industry. After complete re-construction of the kitchen and overall technical innovation, public spaces like the impressive entrance hall, the marble hallway and the library also have undergone a face-lift and make-over.

Frankfurt architects Meixner Schlüter Wendt together with the owner family, the Landgraves of Hessen, and interior designer Nina Campbell have developed a holistic colour and light design concept, which underlines the British character of the property and creates a brighter and lavish ambience through fresh wall colours by Farrow & Ball and flooring by the British company Ulster carpet. Currently rooms and suites in the second, third and fourth floor are under construction and are being newly arranged.
