Heimtextil Blog der Messe Frankfurt
Textile design from Belgium with Russian roots

Nearly 40 designers are exhibiting their work at Heimtextil 2018 in Hall 4.2. We are presenting these new talents with the label “New & Next”. Promising and interesting designers, many of them really young, are coming to show their work at Heimtextil in Frankfurt. To get an idea how they work and how their styles look like, we asked some of them a few questions. We talked to Bella Parizjeva, textile designer from Brussels.

Where do you get your inspiration from and what is fascinating you most in the field of textile interior design?
I get inpiration in everyday life. One of my latest projects is an umbrella, which makes you happy even on rainy days. The umbrella visual was inpired by the spring florished tree, the photo of it was taken and then was created a print.

Could you please describe your design briefly?
In interior design I like a posibility to create every time a different univers using various styles, textures and techniques. My style is based on natural hand drawing/ painting and software Manipulation.

What are the design-trends for the coming seasons?
I think that future trends will be based on nature inspiration as main theme, this is what has a big impact on me as well. I’ll also suggest some abstract motives.

Bella Parizjeva shows her designs for the first time at Heimtextil 2018, hall 4.2., stand A42.
