PAD: Hello light and airy!
Naturally and fresh designs for cushions and plaids
Bright, fresh green tones greet the observer of PAD’s 2017 spring/summer collection. Their design team have used this colour rather more than usual; the natural colours of the plant world, coupled with exotic patterns, which are themselves also strongly inspired by nature, are to be found on pillows, bedcovers and the like. Green introduces an airy freshness and a natural feel and is clearly setting a trend for the year; in the form of cacti and succulents, it adorns many of the accessories for the home from PAD.
In the 90s and the 2000s they were scorned as dust magnets; now cacti and succulents are enjoying a fashionable comeback and, in conjunction with other live indoor plants, help create some exciting ‘indoor gardening areas’. What else are PAD offering for the 2017 season? Pastel shades are a must – and not only in spring: nude, marshmallow, vanilla and delicate shades of peach are managing to twist lovers of soft colour harmonies around their little finger. With their ‘insideout’ line, PAD are offering, for next season, multifunctional home textiles, that can be used both indoors and out: relaxing prospects indeed!
For more than 10 years now, PAD have been offering accessories for the home which are sustainably produced and manufactured under fair working conditions. Almost all the products are ‘made in Europe’ and certified in conformity with the Oeko-Tex Standard 100.
PAD are exhibiting in Hall 11.0, Stand B 10.
