Artificial leather, velour fabrics and natural fibres – the Flokser Group is active in 20 countries on three continents with franchise shops and sales partners, and produces its entire portfolio in Turkey, the homeland of flock specialists. The company has been on the market for 30 years and employs around 50 research and development engineers who are occupied the whole year round with combining and optimising textiles in terms of look & feel and technical properties. Ceren Erten is Collection Manager at Flokser and responsible for in-house design. For the 2013/14 season, she has taken up the idea of trend personalities.
Her trends are Romantic, Urban, Neo Classic and Crazy. Within the framework of these subject areas, she has combined qualities, surfaces, designs and colours that function internationally. “These groups help to bundle and characterise our wide-ranging spectrum of products. Naturally, we have customers who feel at home in all of the four subject areas – to a certain extent at least”, says Ceren. Incidentally, Flokser Tekstil also has products in the Trend Forum.
