Sarlas Greece: family business all set for further expansion
The range of Sarlas fabrics can be found in 55 countries, and the trend is upwards. The family business from Athens was founded in the mid-1970s and since it first took part in Heimtextil in 2011 it has embarked on a dynamic course of expansion. Through its participation in Intertextile in Shanghai and Heimtextil in Moscow the Greek textile manufacturer has been able to open up additional world markets. The core product is decorative fabric for curtains. Sarlas has specialised in the coupon and contract business and, according to a statement by Dimitris Nikas, the 2014/2015 collection is the best that the company has ever offered. There is every indication that the ‘Made in Greece’ label will continue to expand even further.
Sarlas is exhibiting in Hall 3.1, Stand B 82.
