Style Library provides a home for eight British label
Creative abundance for design-hungry interior furnishings experts
“All brands have their own design DNA and individual signatures,” explains Alison Keane, PR-Manager of Style Library. The company provides a home for eight well-known design brands and thus offers the market not only an enormous creative range, but also logistical and economic benefits. With the choice of the individual design studios, Creative Director Claire Vallis seeks to ensure that the ‘Style Library’ safeguards individuality, whilst nevertheless remaining a harmonious whole. The portfolio brings together some well-established British brands and young start-up companies and, as a result, guarantees both variation and inspiration aplenty.
And now a ‘Style Library GmbH’ has just been launched, especially for the German market; with their team, they visit German interior designers and architects, as well as providing a very individual service for the commercial and contract sectors. The branch office will, from now on, be in Karlsruhe. This is the first year that Style Library have brought their concept to Heimtextil and they are delighted with the interest shown and the response of the market. “We have our own wallpaper factories and printing shops and can, therefore, also respond extremely quickly to individual requests,” continues Alison. That should be of particular interest for the commercial and contract sectors. And purchasing can also be optimised through the grouping of the work at Style Library. The brands participating in the Style Library could well be thought to be a Who’s Who of the British design industry: Zoffany, Harlequin, Sanderson, Morris&Co., Scion, Anthology, Clarke&Clarke and g-studio are all involved.
